New Member of Cherokee Nation Bar Association

On May 27 I was sworn in as a member of the Cherokee Nation Bar Association at the Nation’s Justice Building in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. As the Bar Association is being newly reactivated, I am hoping to find opportunities to do some pro bono mediation of matters that may come up in Northwest Arkansas. It was an honor to be present with the Chief of the Nation, the Chief Justice and Attorney General and members of the Bar. Also reconnected with an attorney from my previous Tulsa-attorney days. Was especially proud to have my son, Barton Comstock, on hand for the occasion.
