Grant Application Submitted To Arkansas' Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission

On behalf of Legal Aid of Arkansas, I submitted a Grant Application to Arkansas' ADR Commission in an effort to fund a pilot program for the prompt and inexpensive resolution of Landlord/Tenant matters. If funding approved, the goal will be to persuade select Landlords to participate in prompt pre-suit mediation of both the issues of possession and rental monetary obligations, and to develop a short roster of civil court-certified mediators who would provide their services at a substantially reduced rate for up to four hours. Waiting on Commission decision.
